Short Biography

Assistant Professor Abdulkerim Okbaz received his BS and MS degrees from Selçuk University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2009 and 2013, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2018, where he worked as a research assistant between 2013 and 2018. He worked as a R&D engineer in “FRITERM Termik  Cihazlar San. ve Tic. A.S.”  between 2018 and 2019. He joined Department of Mechanical Engineering at Doğuş University in 2019.
He has expertise in experimental-computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer.  He has studies published in several journals and conferences that include flow control methods, particle image velocimetry technique (PIV), heat transfer enhancement methods, heat exchangers, heat recovery, heat pumps, unsteady flows, jet flows, blunt body aerodynamics / hydrodynamics and biomimetics.
