Mission

As the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, we aim to provide theoretical and applied Engineering education at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels, which are compatible with the basic engineering science principles. Our goal is to train engineers who can follow the current science and technology in the field of electricity and electronics in our country and in the world, and have the skills of analysis and application. In line with this goal, we benefit from the opportunities of our industry and our non-university stakeholders through sectoral collaborations, as well as from the existing laboratories and R&D offices in our department, in order to implement scientific and technological innovations in a way that will contribute to the service of our country and all humanity. Thus, in addition to basic engineering concepts, we provide our students with advanced education and training opportunities in subjects such as design and analysis of electricity, electronics, circuits and systems, communication systems, electrical energy systems and facilities, electrical machines, power electronics and hardware design, with the ability to analyze, design and apply. We enable them to gain supported knowledge and skills.

Vision

Our vision; being an elite department that conducts original research in the field of Electrical-Electronics engineering at an international level, trains highly qualified Electrical-Electronics Engineers with its constantly developing education system, contributes to social development with the scientific and technical services it produces, and arouses prestige with its qualifications.
