Computational Condensed Matter Physics and Material Physics
The Computational Condensed Matter Physics and Material Physics Research Group conducts research on the electronic, mechanical, and tribological properties of materials using computational methods.

TÜBİTAK 1001 Project
Prof. Doğan Erbahar is running a TÜBİTAK 1001 project on the tribological properties of twisted bilayer systems.

The project focuses on understanding the physical properties of layered materials by using computational methods and simulations.
COST Action CA21126 – NanoSpace
Prof. Doğan Erbahar is currently the leader of Working Group 1 of COST Action CA21126 – Carbon Molecular Nanostructures in Space (NanoSpace).

This international research activity focuses on carbon molecular nanostructures and their role in space-related scientific studies.
