Welcome to Doğus University Faculty of Engineering Website…

Our faculty has been conducting educational activities with various engineering programs for 20 years. During these years our primary goals have been to enable our students to obtain the most up-to-date education through applications regarding their fields and to educate creative, innovative, responsible and unbiased engineers who can think both analytically and critically, who believe in lifelong learning, and who are going to contribute to the progress of mankind. To reach these goals, we would like our students to grow as free thinking, conscious individuals who also have social skills.

Dogus University, Faculty of Engineering has proven itself in not only industry but also in the academic field to be a pristine faculty through qualified faculty members who focus on constant self-development with scientific research, as well as its accredited curricula by Association for Evaluating and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MUDEK).

In their final year, our students are required to solve a real-life engineering problem as a graduation project using their theoretical and practical education. Solution and application oriented projects not only allow the students to experience working environments but also enable them to solve actual problems using engineering tools.

Additionally, our students continuously improve themselves with opportunities like Erasmus+, Double Major, and Minor programs. Moreover, through mandatory internships they have the chance of transferring their theoretical knowledge into practice. They also develop their managerial skills while working for the Student Clubs.

We, as Dogus University Faculty of Engineering, welcome our new friends who join our department.

ASSOC. PROF. DOĞAN ERBAHAR'S STUDY IS IN THE COVER OF THE WORLD-FAMOUS CHEMICAL COMMUNICATION!

Department of Mechanical Engineering member Assoc. Dr. Doğan Erbahar’s latest study has been published in the field of Chemical Communications, the publication of the Royal Society of Chemistry, one of the most prestigious scientific publishers in the world.

In the research, which has been formed as a result of the collaboration of scientists working in different disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry and Bioengineering, the group focused on metal oxide skeletal structures from promising materials in today's technology and a structure with high degree of structural and thermal stability was investigated. Assoc. Dr. Doğan Erbahar has explained the mechanism of occurrence of the magnetic phenomenon observed in the studied structure.

These types of structures are expected to become more common in future applications related to chemistry, energy and the environment.
